Human Trafficking
What we do
Almost 8 million people are trapped in Human Trafficking in India. It is the second largest organized crime in India.
Traffickers resort to violence, false education and career prospects, false marriage offers to lure the vulnerable and marginalized. The most vulnerable group are from those lower socioeconomic strata who are poor, lack a stable family structure, and have minimal education.
Labor Trafficking & Sex Trafficking are the most common forms of trafficking. Other forms of trafficking include forced marriage, forced begging, and forced criminal activity.
Our team is working in bringing awareness in remote and vulnerable areas, and building the capacity of the community on abuse and exploitation.
